Grandmas Have Changed
Deborah Carroll has captured the changes in grandma types in this millenium. She says, "Today’s grandmothers don’t see ourselves, or our place in the world, the way our grandmothers did." Discussing names for us, she points out we might want to step it up for our roles today. Grandmothers are helping run the world. They are winning awards and breaking records. No need for an old fuddy duddy name or mindset.
